hi i'm danica, a 20 years old girl from germany and I'm absolutely addicted on art. Everyday without drawing or painting is a lost day for me. I need my art to forget everything around me, sometimes it's really helpful when you can just forget everything for some hours. I'm not very good at painting yet but I prefer to draw anyway.

Another hobby of mine is riding (I have two horses and I do riding since my 6th year of life). Also I'm absolutely addicted in music, I can't do anything without it, whether riding nor drawing nor reading nor just sitting around.... Music has formed my character as well as my whole life and my artwork... at this point I have to say that I'm terribly sadly 'bout the fact I cannot sing or do music in any other way. But generally i am always in a good mood. I think life is too short to lose a day by being sad.

Ways result from the fact that one goes them!

finally my study in chemistry and math begins in two weeks. yeah i'll become a teacher. well maybe i'll change the math to art next year, that depends on how much i like it. i really want to study art but this year it was not possible :-( ... nevertheless, i wanted to tell you that i've planned a tutorial video for youtube.

at the moment i'm working on an order, an oil painting of heath ledger alias the joker. i love my work XD... when i don't think about the costs of the canvas, the oil colours...

thank you very much

Wow, you've certainly got a wonderful talent! I do have a question though; I was checking out some of your speed-drawing videos on YouTube, and was curious... do you use a paintbrush for blending? How does that work?

thank you. it's a simple dry brush and i use it because it allows to blend very softly and without smudges. you should try it, it's really good.

by the way i really like your equine photomanips. do you ride? i do :-)
:iconmusical-miss:
I'll definately have to give it a try!

And thank you! I rode for a very very long time, but I moved to New York City almost three years ago and couldn't take my horse with me. He still lives with my parents, and when I visit them I always ride him at least once. I miss it :(

yeah i can believe that... i would miss it too if i ever have to stop. i can't even imagine a life without riding. may i ask were you have lived before?
:iconmusical-miss:
I used to live in eastern Vermont, so I'm really only about seven hours away from home. The drive stills sucks though (especially because I absalutely HATE driving).

Life without riding was a weird adjustment, but it always was a secondary passion for me (after musical theatre/singin/dance), so I probably had an easier time adjusting than most would. And I still get to ride when I visit home, so it's not so bad.
